How Does E'Commerce Work With The 3-Tier System?
Just like the song says, "Anything you can do, I can do better...", I fully see a future where RNCD creates a very thoughtful follow-up to what SGWS has moved on here, reported by The Spirits Business. Reserve Bar, "is said to be the leading e-commerce platform for premium and luxury spirits, which are offered for delivery to consumers.", their website connects consumers to licensed outlets in their area, and offers shipping through that outlet where able.
As more and more of the total pie of spirits sales are though e'commerce, reported to be 14% of the total retail market, it behooves distributors to get in on this new income outlet - in-effect, allowing them to earn twice on each sale (through the individual states and through their % of ownership of the e'commerce website/portal/app-as-able).
And, since simply being ON these new sales outlets is brand advertising and sales opportunity, we'll be making getting on as many of these websites a priority.
And, as the song continues, "I can do anything better than you.", which I believe RNDC will show SGWS in the coming term.
